Are You Ready to
Buy Your First House?

Here are a few things you are going to want to know and have ready

We Help You Get into
Your First Home

Buying your first home is exciting, but it can also be a little scary. The process can be confusing, and there are a million things you need to take into consideration if you’re going to do it right.

As an active member of the local community, I would like to help out the next generation of home buyers by sharing some things I wish I had known before my first house hunting experience. If you want to buy a home for the first time, keep these tips in mind.

1) Understand your budget:  If you don’t know how much of a mortgage payment you can afford, then you’re not ready for a home loan. You should have an idea of your budget before starting the house hunt.

2) Shop around for a mortgage:    Your best bet is to get pre-qualified with multiple lenders and find one who will give you the best deal on your first home purchase.

3) See if you qualify for the First Time Home Buyer’s Program:   Most states have programs in place to help first-time home buyers purchase homes with low-interest rates and lower down payments. Look into these programs before making any serious decisions about buying a home.

4) Think about getting professional help:  If this all seems like too much, I and my team are here 7 days a week to help you not to make any mistakes.

    About Us

Buying a home can be a frightening and intimidating process, but with some helpful tips, it can also be very rewarding. Here is my advice for anyone looking to buy their first home:

-Start saving money. You'll need 20% of the purchase price in cash. That's a lot of money to save in a short amount of time, so start putting aside a portion of your income every month. It will be worth it when you look back on all the great things you were able to do with that money.

-Get pre-approved for your loan. This will help you determine how much money you will actually need to save, as well as make sure the home you want to buy is within your debt-to-income ratio.

-Be prepared to pay more than the asking price. If you're a first-time home buyer, it's unlikely they'll sell the house at the original price because banks tend to charge higher interest rates for people without much credit history or assets.

-Make sure the home is up to code! Inspections cost about $300 and are worth every penny if it eliminates major structural problems (or worse) before you move in.

    Our Mission

One of the biggest hurdles people face in buying a home is saving up the down payment. Some people turn to credit cards or other sources, but those only make things worse in the long run. If you're looking for a different option, look into government-backed programs that can help you buy your first home. The Federal Housing Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs both offer first-time home buyer programs that allow you to finance a mortgage with as little as 3.5 percent down. In fact, VA loans are even available to members of the military who haven't yet served a full four years on active duty.

With these programs, you still have to meet certain requirements: for example, if you're applying for an FHA loan, you'll need a credit score of at least 580. But if you're eligible, it's possible to have a home of your own—and stay out of debt—without breaking your budget.

When you're looking for your first home, there are a lot of things that can trip you up. The following list includes some of the most common questions first-time home buyers ask, as well as some advice for what to do when you're ready to make an offer.

-Are there any special loans available for first-time home buyers?

-What is the difference between PMI and FHA insurance?

-Can I get cash back at closing?

-Should I get a realtor or sell it myself?

    Our Vision

The first time you buy your own place, it feels like a big moment. Your first instinct is probably to start looking right away and then impulsively jump on the first house that seems like a good option. But it's important to think before you buy—and that applies to real estate just as much as it does to anything else.

"Buying your first home is an exciting experience," says my friend Sarah, who put together this guide for me because she'd only recently done it herself and she had some very good advice to share. "But," she says, "it's also an incredibly complicated process. There are so many things that you need to figure out before you can fully understand what you're getting into." So here's what Sarah and I have learned in our respective experiences:
